Evaluate the success of sent email messages.

Review Email Analytics

  • From the messages menu in the top navigation bar click Past messages where you can:
  • Locate the email message from the list for which you would like to review the results.
  • View message results by clicking the hyperlinked number in parentheses next to the green and blue People button in the View Results column.
  • The white information box at the top left of the page that follows displays the details regarding the email including:
    • Message subject
    • Date and time sent
    • Notification level
      • User types
    • Escalation level
    • Groups included in the message
  • To the left of the white information box are green information boxes displaying:
    • Emails Sent - the number of email addresses the system tried to reach.
    • Delivered - the number of emails successfully delivered.
    • Bounced - the number of emails that were unsuccessful because the addresses were invalid. (Contact Customer Success for help with the process of removing bounces from email addresses.)
    • Opened - the number of emails opened by recipients.
    • Unopened - the number of emails unopened by recipients.
    • Clicked Thru - the number of recipients who received the message, opened it, and clicked at least one hyperlink within the message.
    • Spam Reported - the number of email recipients who marked the message as spam. Any other messages sent to these recipients will be delivered to their spam folder.
    • Unsubscribes - the number of emails recipients who chose to be removed from the email list by clicking the Unsubscribe button at the end of each email message. Unsubscribes can also be viewed by selecting Email Opt Outs from Admin Reports in the top navigation bar.

Filtering Results

  • Click the highlighted number in each of the green boxes to filter the list by that result type. Or make a selection from the Status dropdown menu in the upper left of the page and click the Update Results button. Then to create a new group from the filtered results click Create Group.
  • To locate a specific recipient by Name or Email Address, make a selection from the Search dropdown menu to the right of the page. Enter all or part of the information and click the Search button.
  • To export the results displayed on the screen click the Export Selected Results button. An Excel spreadsheet will then download to your computer from the system.
