IVR System: Create a Group ID

Create a group ID number to enable sending a voice message to a specific group(s) using any phone type including a landline phone.

Locate Phone Code and Phone Pin

• From the Users menu in the top navigation bar click View Users.
• Use the search box to locate the user (e.g. by Last Name).
• Click the Edit icon represented by the person with the blue shirt and pencil.
• Locate the Phone Code and Phone PIN under the Phone Code column

Create Group ID

• From the Groups menu in the top navigation bar click View Groups.
• To create the Group ID, click the People with Pencil icon to the far right.
• On the Edit Group screen enter the desired Group ID into field provided. The Group ID must be numeric and contain at least 4 digits.
• Click Update to save. The screen will refresh, showing that the group has been updated.

Send Messages Via IVR

• Call into the voice messaging system (IVR) and enter your Phone Code and Phone PIN when prompted.
• Record your message when prompted and press the # key. If satisfied with your voice message press the # key again to continue.
• To send your message to all users press the * key and then the # key, or to send your message to a specific group press the * key, enter the Group ID, and then press the # key.
