Set User Permissions in Groups

Grant Level 2 User permissions to enable a user to send messages and messages to specific group(s) without having access to the entire system.

  1. In the top navigation bar, click Users.

  2. Select View Users.

  3. In the User Type column, locate the user’s current access level.

  4. To change the user’s access level:

    • Click the People with Pencil icon in the Edit column.

    • Select Level 2 User from the User Type dropdown menu.

    • Click Save.

  5. Click the user’s Dashboard icon (person with blue shirt and green arrow).

  6. Go to the Contact Information tab.

  7. In the Groups table, find the group you want the user to have messaging permissions for.

  8. Click the Gold Key icon next to that group.

  9. Check the box for Send messages.

  10. Click Save.

Note: Back on the user’s Dashboard, a green plus sign will appear next to the gold key, indicating the user now has permission to send messages to that group.
