Create and Use SMS Text Message Templates

Create a reusable SMS Text message.

• From the messages menu in the top navigation bar click Templates.
• On the New Template page select a Template Category from the pulldown menu.
  • To create a new Template Category click the Manage Template Categories button.
  • In the popup window that appears, enter a category name into the field provided and press the Add Category button
  • To edit a category, press the Pencil button.
  • To delete a category, press the red Delete button.
• On the New Template page, select SMS from the Template Type dropdown menu.
• Enter a Subject for future reference in the field provided.
• Enter a Template ID in the field provided (Optional).
• Type your Message in the field provided.
• Click the Save button in the lower left corner of the message section.
• When ready, follow the steps to send a SMS Text Message Alert and choose the template you created.
