Users can send messages if they are either a "User Level 2" or an "User Level 3" on the account.
If you would like to enable a user to send messages and messages to specific group(s) without granting them access to the entire system, you would grant them "User Level 2" permission.
Level 2 Users (Staff/Faculty/Management/Mall Staff/Coaches)
To change them to User Level 2, you will:
- From the Users menu in the top navigation bar click View Users and locate the User Type column which displays the user's access level.
- To change the user's level, click the Edit icon to the far left represented by the person with the blue shirt and pencil.
- When the user's information becomes editable, select the desired access level from the User Type dropdown menu, and click Save.
To give the user permission to send messages to specific group(s):
- Click the Dashboard icon to the far right represented by the person with the blue shirt and green arrow.
- On the Contact Information tab locate the table displaying the group(s) the user has been assigned to and click the Gold Key button to the right of that group.
- On the page that follows check the Send Message box and click Save. Back on the user's Dashboard you will see a green plus sign beside the gold key, indicating that the user now has permission to send messages to members of that group
If you would like them to have full access to the account, you would grant the user a Level 3, or admin, access
Level 3 Users (Administrators)
To change them to User Level 3, you will:
- From the Users menu in the top navigation bar click View Users and locate the User Type column which displays the user's access level.
- To change the user's level, click the Edit icon to the far left represented by the person with the blue shirt and pencil.
- When the user's information becomes editable, select the desired access level from the User Type dropdown menu, and click Save.
Note: Once the user has been made an admin on the account, you cannot edit their access level or update their information. You can still delete an admin. To update an admin, or to send their log in credentials, please contact our support team.
