Edit User Language Preferences

Both Text and Voice messages can be set to communicate with users who may prefer a language other than English.

Text Messages

  • From the Users menu in the top navigation bar click View Users.
  • Use the search box to locate the user (e.g. by Last Name) or locate the user in the list.
  • Click the Dashboard icon represented by the person with the blue shirt and green arrow.
  • On the Contact Information tab locate the user's Cell Phone number and click the Gear icon to view Details.
  • On the Detail Contact Information window make sure Yes is selected under Text Msg and select the user's Preferred Language from the dropdown menu. Click the Update Contact button to save your changes.

Text to Speech (TTS) and Voice Call Messages

  • From the Users menu in the top navigation bar click View Users.
  • Use the search box to locate the user (e.g. by Last Name) or locate the user in the list.
  • Click the Dashboard icon represented by the person with the blue shirt and green arrow.
  • On the Contact Information tab locate the user's Cell Phone number, and click on the Gear button to view Details.
  • On the Detail Contact Information window make sure Yes is selected under Voice and select the user's Preferred Language from the dropdown menu. Click the Update Contact button to save your changes. (NOTE: Languages preferences only apply to voice calls made using Text-to-Speech (TTS) - Voice. Recorded voice messages are not translated into a different language.)
