Add Users

This process works best for adding a few users at a time.

If you need to upload a large number of users or create a specialty group (users may or may not currently exist in your cast system):

Email a spreadsheet to our Customer Support Team at support@highgroundsolutions.com.
We can provide a secure SFTP site for uploading your spreadsheet. Data can be automatically updated from this site.
Many customers schedule an automatic export and upload of data from their information system to our SFTP site.

Add a User One at a Time

In the top navigation bar, click Users.
Select Add Users.
In the User Information form:
- Select an Access Level from the User Type dropdown menu.
- Enter First Name, Middle Name (optional), and Last Name.
- (Optional) Enter a Unique ID.
  - May be numeric or alphanumeric.
  - Used to uniquely identify each person.
  - Recommended if you update your database via import (prevents duplicate entries).
Click Create User Name to automatically generate a unique username.
Password is automatically generated by the system.
- If granting Admin rights, note the password temporarily before saving (for reference).
- You may change the password to something easier to remember.
- Users are encouraged to change their username and password upon login.
- Password requirements:
  - Minimum 8 characters
  - At least 1 special character (e.g., !@$?_-)
  - At least 1 number
  - Uppercase and lowercase letters
Enter any contact information (recommended: email address for password recovery).
To add the user to one or more groups:
- Select the group(s) from the Custom Group dropdown menus under Group Info.
Click Save to finish.
- Or select Add Another User, then click Save to return to the Add User form for the next entry.
