Create a Group from Past SMS Text Alert

Create a new SMS/Text group from a list of recipients who responded to a previous text from you. In the example below 2-way texting would need to be enabled (Responded Option).

• From the messages menu in the top navigation menu click Past messages.
• From the list of SMS/Text locate the SMS/Text from which the new group will be created, and view the results of the SMS/Text by clicking the hyperlinked number in parentheses next to the green and blue People button in the View Results column.
• To select the users with which the new group will be created, select one of the options in the green boxes, such as Responded from the Status dropdown menu, and click Create Group.
• The screen will refresh, and the new group's name will display next to Group Created under the Subject of the SMS/Text used to create the group in the upper left of the screen.
• To view the group click the hyperlinked group name. Or send the group a new message by clicking the Send Message link next to the new group's name.
