- HGS Accounting - Plan Details to be Updated in MyCast
HGS>Account>Account Details
For clients on new SaaS+ Plans, their subscription plan - including price, allotment of messages, and overage rate is listed within their MyCast portal under Account Details. Additionally, their available messages (Usage Balance) are also listed and update automatically as they use the system.
- HGS Accounting - messages Are Updated to Equal 1 Message
Email, Voice, and SMS Messages within the Cast system will use 1 message per type of message.
Example scenarios:- If you send an SMS to 10 people, it will use 10 messages.
- If you send an email to 50 people, it will use 50 email messages. This applies to all SaaS+ clients.
- If you send an all methods (Voice, SMS, and Email) to 15 people, it will use: 30 SMS/Voice messages, and 15 email messages.
- HGS Alert - No Response Requested from Recipient
All clients on SaaS+ plans will have 2-Way SMS enabled. The "No Response Requested from Recipient" will be the default choice when sending an SMS and /or Voice message. The client will need to update and choose "Require Recipient Response" from their users before sending the message if they would like to receive a return message.
- HGS Alert - Yellow Screen for Message
HGS>Send Message> Choose (Group, Type, etc.)>Bar appears under the choices
The client will be able to see how many messages will be used, as well as their balance available, before sending a message via the yellow bar within their Alert Screen. Once they approve the messages, the messages will be removed from their system.
Fixes
- HGS Accounting - Update Payment Method
HGS>Account>Manage Payment Method
Currently, when a client adds a message card by going to Manage Payment Methods, their account remains on check payment and does not run the message card on file. With the release, when a client adds a message card into their system, it will update the billing system to run as a message card moving forward.

- HGS People Redesign: Actions, and Modals HGS>Side Menu>People.
Adding People (users) to the side navigation. The Tri-Dot Actions at the end of the screen for each line item will show the below selections for the user:- View Dashboard
- Add User to Group
- Send Message
- Make High Priority
- Delete
- Admin Report: Recent Activity HGS>Side Menu>Admin Reports>Recent activity.
This allows users to see the recent activity completed within the application. Admins can export the report in excel.
The details include:- Date of Recent Activity
- User
- Activity Type
- Contact Method
- Enhancing Group Access and Search Functions HGS> Side Menu >Groups > Search.
This feature allows users to search groups based on their names or location or other identifying criteria. It also allows users to send a message directly from the group page after filtering their choices.
Fixes
- Restricting Extended Voice messages
Currently, the PWA interface allows for voice messages that are 10+ minutes long. The current MCC allows 1 min 50 sec long voice messages. The dashboard accessed via the web browser allows for up to 4 minutes.
The CAST system through the PWA interface will no longer allow voice messages longer than 2 minutes. With the release, the system will stop recording when the message reaches the 2 min mark.
- Home Tab and Track messages Tab HGS> Home Tab
Today the Home tab and Track messages tab are the same. The Home Tab has been hidden for all.
- Adding “Save Draft” Feature
Previously on the Progressive Web App (PWA), when a user would save the draft to edit later, the draft message would still send and not save as draft. With the release, the draft saves and allows users to resume editing at a later time without losing their progress.

- Clickwrap for V2 HGS Billing
After login, customers will be presented with a Clickwrap Agreement to acknowledge the new Billing Model for HGS. Details (screenshot below) are presented and can be Acknowledged or Dismissed.
After acknowledgment, our team will implement the new pricing model. HGS users can view their message usage availability, as well as two additional options within their account (2-way SMS and the ability to import their own users).
