Short Code Opt-In Guide

Summary of High Ground Solutions Short Codes

High Ground Solutions offers three dedicated SMS short codes that allow users to opt in and begin receiving system-generated text alerts:

  • 22383
  • 34166
  • 25922

Each short code is tied to a specific messaging program within the Cast system. Users must opt in by sending a designated keyword to the applicable short code before receiving recurring SMS alerts.

What Is a Short Code?

A short code is a 5- digit phone number used by organizations to send and receive high-volume SMS or MMS messages. Unlike standard 10-digit phone numbers, short codes are specifically provisioned through wireless carriers for application-based messaging such as:

  • Emergency alerts
  • School or Organizational notifications
  • Account-related updates
  • Event reminders

Short codes are designed for:

  • Faster message throughput
  • Carrier-approved compliance standards
  • Clear opt-in and unsubscribe workflows
  • Reliable delivery for time-sensitive communications

Before receiving recurring messages, users must provide consent by texting a specific keyword to the short code. This action constitutes express opt-in.

  • Agreeing to potential recurring messages.
  • Acknowledging that message and data rates may apply.

The system automatically logs this opt-in action to maintain carrier and regulatory compliance.

Additional Notes

  • If the short code (22383, 34166, 25922) does not send you a confirmation of activation, please contact support and include your organization, first name, last name, and cell phone number.
  • Opt-in must be completed from the mobile device that will receive messages.
  • If a user previously unsubscribed, they may rejoin by texting the required keyword again.
  • Delivery depends on mobile carrier coverage and device compatibility.

These short codes ensure secure, compliant, and reliable SMS communication for Cast system alerts.

If you are unsure who the organization is please e-mail support@highgroundsolutions.com with the phone number and/or e-mail address where you received the message and we will be happy to look it up for you in our system.
