High Ground Solutions (HGS) offers several integration processes for updating your user database:
Manual User Addition:
You can add users one at a time through the Users menu by filling out the User Information form and saving.
Import Users via Spreadsheet:
Admin users can import or add users using a spreadsheet (Excel or CSV).
The import process allows you to:
- Add new users or replace existing users.
- Map spreadsheet columns to system fields.
- Choose options to delete users not in the import file or retain existing contacts.
- Import users by user type level (Level 1, 2, or 3).
- Import groups aligned with users if included in the spreadsheet.
Automatic Upload via Secure SFTP:
For large numbers of users or specialty groups, you can upload spreadsheets to a secure SFTP site provided by HGS.
- The system automatically processes files uploaded to the root directory.
- You can schedule automatic exports from your HRIS system to this SFTP site for seamless updates.
- Credentials and connection details are provided by HGS support.
HGS Transfer Windows App:
An alternative method where you drop a data file into a folder on your local machine, and the app uploads it to HGS servers automatically.
